Homebrew SystemIt is the present. You are a human, living in this world. You have your wishes, dreams, and regrets. All the choices in your life have led you to where you are now—whether they were willing choices, influenced choices, or choices forced upon you. Yet, here you are today.You currently live in Migawa, Japan, a city located in the Shimane Prefecture within the Chugoku Region. It is a bustling city situated along the coastline of the Sea of Japan.How long have you lived here now? Ah, wait. Do you realize it yet?
You feel like you are meant to be here yet you also feel... Uneasy.

PLOT & SETTING
The story takes place in the bustling city of Migawa. A city where the center is similar to a megacity yet when one goes outside of the city they will be met with a charming rural area that is filled with tradition. culture, and history.Lately, there have been murders. The news is spreading like wildfire. The police are working hard to figure out the cause but it seems to be unsolved cases as of right now. Currently, there are 4 murders that occurred within the last month.
You feel unease creeping up. You should rest up to prepare for tomorrow. When tomorrow does come, you over hear people talking about the murders. Some are saying it's ghost! The spirits are coming back for revenge.You remember the legend of this city now.There is a known legend that gets told to everyone who stumbles upon this city or chooses to live here. That legend is that this is the location of the boundary between the living and the dead. They say we live parallel to the spirits and the spirits live parallel to humans.Who knows what story will unfold based on that legend.Then again, people have been seeing shadows from the corners of their eye. These murders are not being solved. Is it something supernatural? Is it a vengeful spirit? How do you even defend yourself against such a thing?Hopefully, it doesn't come to that.You find yourself thinking about legends now. Tell me, are there any stories of heroes or villains that you enjoy? Stories of gods or humans that overcame it all. What story resonates with you?

RULES & CONTENT WARNING
The rules of the group are basic RP etiquette. Be respectful, considerate, mindful, and respect boundaries. No shipchasing, no godmodding, metagaming, and all of that. IC =/= OOC. Any and all drama between server members must be dealt with outside of the server unless it is related to the server, members are more than welcomed to send a ticket to the mod team.There will be a mix of light-heartedness and darker themes in the main story and when it comes to player character histories. We don’t want anyone to shy away from sensitive topics as long as they are written respectfully and researched properly. The plot could contain sensitive topics such as; murders, suicides, family trauma, abuse, violence, blood, injuries, trafficking, etc. etc. There will always be spoilers and content warnings. A spoiled version for the more detailed sensitive topic and a condensed version without the sensitive topics so every player is in the loop.Player characters will also be thrown into battles where their lives will depend on it. There is no permadeath unless you, the player wants there to be for your character.All in all, we want everyone to have fun!

Currently the ideal is around 15-20 players and that does not include invited members.Is there ride or die?
There is no ride or die, however, there will be an invite system. If you or your friend get in? They can purchase a friend invite.I'm a little confused about the plot, can you condense it down?

What legendary hero or villain does your player character resonate with the most? Think of Persona, Fate/Stay, Metaphor: ReFantazio, and more. That's the clue we will give you!When it comes to the legacy portion of the app, what are we allowed to do?
Go crazy. Make the legendary hero or villain your character loves as OP or as useless as you want them to be. Just know that it will tie into your character and the overall story one way or another! HOW TO JOIN
Requirements: Characters must be 18+; All written portions on the visual & written app is filled out. At minimum a half-body/waist-up fully colored piece is required to be on the app. Submit your finished app to the designated location for finished apps before the deadline.The visual and written template will be available in the pre-server and is currently unavailable until then.
